After winning the tournament, Samantha can visit Shepherd’s apartment and persuade Shepherd to join the hot tab. Shepherd can encourage her and talk to her rivals to help her win. Later Citadel, Samantha will ask Shepherd to meet her for lunch on the Strip, but will be distracted by the chess tournament in the arcade. This can be done via a Paragon interrupt that allows the shepherd to kiss her. Shepherd needs to convince Samantha of her true identity. Samantha will be an important player in returning Shepherd and her crew to Normandy following the takeover of the clone. The next major romantic beat is Citadel DLC mission. During the main campaign, Shepherd will be able to talk to Samantha on the Galaxy Map between missions. In addition, if Shepherd has already taken part in a date at the citadel and is trapped in romance with another character, Samantha will not agree to take a shower and will not be able to use romance.Īfter the shower, Shepherd and Samantha can be seen together in the Shepherd’s bed. This acts as a lock-in point for romance and prevents Shepherd from pursuing other relationships. She should express her interests and do so to begin her romance.
